This easy spiced chicken with fresh apples is the PERFECT one pan meal! The chicken is seasoned with warm spices like cinnamon, pepper which pairs so well with the sweet apples.

This is a simple recipe that will be a family favorite!


2 tsp. PCOS30 Cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. Pepper

1 Whole Chicken cut into 6 to 7 pcs.

1 tbsp. Coconut Oil

1 Onion, coarsely chopped

1 Medium Apple, cored, peeled, and sliced

1 cup Fresh Orange Juice


  1. Combine cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Use your fingers to rub chicken with cinnamon mixture.

  3. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add half of chicken; cook, turning occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned on all sides. Use tongs to transfer chicken to a plate or bowl.

  4. Add remaining chicken, onion, and apple to pan; cook, turning occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until chicken is lightly browned on all sides.

  5. Return the first batch of cooked chicken to the pan. Stir in orange juice.

  6. When liquid comes to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

  7. Serve with garnish.
