PCOS30 Organic Chia Seeds: Super Green Smoothie BOWL For A Healthy Holiday

PCOS30 Holiday Recipe - 01

Christmas is coming, and you are getting excited!

Naturally, you always like to add a little Christmas spirit to everything you do or make around Christmas time.

So here you have it: our PCOS30 Organic Chia Seed Smoothie!

But wait! There's something new about this smoothie.

You can put them in bowls. Yes, bowls are perfect for a festive holiday meal.

It will be a welcome addition to any holiday table.

What makes this smoothie Christmas-y?

Greens from spinach, kale, avocado, and red pomegranate seeds and with a little bit of artistry.

Ingredients for Making This PCOS30 Organic Chia Seeds Smoothie

  • 1 tbsp. PCOS30 Organic Chia Seeds

  • 1/4 ripe Avocado

  • 2 large handfuls Spinach (organic if possible)

  • 1 small handful Kale (organic if possible // large stems removed)

  • 2 cups Coconut Milk

  • Pomegranate seeds

  • Shredded unsweetened coconut

  • PCOS30 Organic Chia Seeds

How to Make this Chia Smoothie – Step By Step

  1. Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender (have the chia seeds at the bottom to absorb some liquid before you blend).

  2. Wait a couple of minutes for the chia seeds to start soaking up the coconut milk.

  3. Blend. Add more coconut milk (or water) to thin.

  4. Serve with toppings and enjoy.

You could always add raspberries or strawberries instead of pomegranate seeds, but pomegranates are in season around Christmas so just try to get obsessed with them.

Tips, Variations, Add-Ins

  • You can use almost any fruit in this smoothie; it’s a great way to use up leftovers and add variety.

  • A frozen banana makes a big difference to the texture. It adds creaminess and thickens the smoothie almost ice-cream like and also helps keep it cool.

  • Add-ins and toppings are great ways to add variety and boost this recipe further.

    • *Add-ins: PCOS30 Shape in Shake, PCOS30 Rolled Oats, PCOS30 Peanut Spread

  • Best when fresh, though leftovers can be kept in jars in the fridge for up to 1-2 days.

When the holidays are full of sweets, cheesy dips, and sugary cocktails, it's time to take a break and have a refreshing and healthy, but still Christmas-themed, PCOS30 Approved MEAL.

If you try this recipe, would love to hear from you!
